The Tomb (Thriller / Completed)

Young professor JONATHAN (Wes Bentley) has it all, a promising career and an adoring fiancée, but when enigmatic Russian student LIGEIA (Sofya Skya) appears he is spellbound. As though possessed, Jonathan is unable to resist the diabolically beautiful stranger who draws out his wild side. He throws away his impending marriage, and when a colleague supervising Ligeia's mysterious research falls victim to a bizarre accident after cutting her funding, Jonathan abandons his own career and follows Ligeia to her ancestral manor by the Black Sea.

Alone together amidst the ominous splendor of the remote mansion, Ligeia's strange hold over Jonathan begins to slip away and he discovers her spine-chilling secret; an arcane experiment that seeks to distill immortality. It's a volatile, gruesome procedure involving the extraction of human souls, but one that has prolonged her life though the ages. Jonathan's horrified and when he ignores Ligeia's pleas to stay she kills herself.

However, when you possess the secret of immortality, death isn't the end. If Ligeia can't have Jonathan, she's determined to make sure no one else will either.
